About Alice

Hello! I'm meatcube, or you can call me Alice! I am a 26 year old, neurodivergent queer trans woman, and I have been playing, running, crafting, and tweaking Table-Top Role-Playing Games for over a decade now! Honestly, I spend most of my time thinking about, prepping or building TTRPG's, but when I'm not doing that I tend to be writing poetry, doing visual art, reading comics or drawing my own comics! (which I hope to drop soon!) I am a firm believer that creating things together is one of the best parts of the human experience, and I think that running games is one of the easiest ways that I can make that easier for other people. (plus I get to do it more too!) One of the reasons TTRPG's are my medium of choice, however, is how integral communication and cooperation are to the process. Each moment is impacted by the personal experience and aesthetics of every person present for it, and I think that's absolutely magical. I hope we can do some of that magic together!

I became a GM because I couldn't get enough of the game! TTRPGS quickly became a deep passion of mine and no one i knew would run enough sessions to keep up with my appetite!

How Alice runs games

As a Dungeon Master I like to work with the players to make an experience that really gets at the players are looking for. I've spent most of my time DM'ing hopping from tone to tone and setting to setting, so I can cast a pretty wide net when it comes to any individual game. That being said there are a few things that I like to keep pretty constant at my tables. The biggest one is: Combat Should Always be Heart-Pounding! What's the point in breaking out combat if it doesn't get the blood pumping? Any time swords are drawn I want the players to feel like their lives are on the line! Another one is: People and Places Should Always be Memorable! Why have another general goods store clerk if he's not got a funny pet rat in the corner, or a strange scar and a funny story about it? If a player's not going to remember it, then I don't see much of a point in adding it. I like to run very colorful, very dangerous worlds with some strange problems. That's what they need adventurer's for! So get in here!
