About Echo
Heyhey! I usually go by the nickname Echo. My (mostly forever) DM career started almost 15 years ago when me and some friends started playing The Dark Eye. Around 10 years ago i fell in love with Dungeons and Dragons and ran from that point on multiple games every week until today. No matter if homebrew or hardcover. Recently i asked myself how i can be even more engaged with this fantastical game we all love and share. The logical consequence was to ask my players for a small fee so i can sink even more time into what i truly love, which is giving my players a fun and unforgettable experience. As part of the LGTBQ+ community myself i advocate strongly against discrimination at my tables. So i always try to create a safe space for my players where their stories and characters can thrive without the fear of prejudice and discrimination. Another part of my trait portfolio would be probably that i love to mentor new players, which i gladly do free of charge. My games usually run at a VTT (Virtual Tabletop) which in my case is Roll20. I own every official Sourcebook (and a ton of third party content) which i share with the players at my table over the compendium sharing function of Roll20. So you don't have to worry at all about having to buy any of the Sourcebooks to create the character of your dreams. If all of that peaked your interest or if you are a newcomer who just needs some help don't hesitate to shoot me a DM!

How Echo runs games
My GM style varies heavily on what the group wants from the game we are playing. I love roleplay and i love to give the players at my table time to roleplay and let their characters shine. I also love designing combat encounters and through the years i got pretty good at creating challenging but not unfair encounters. But the biggest part of my style would be that i strongly facilitate for fun and peace at my table. Conflict is a part of the game and roleplay but i always watch out that it never gets personal. I also love dad jokes so...expect a lot of psychic damage from that alone...
