Iv played very few tabletops all together but i am extremely familiar with D&D, i have now been playing for over five years and have DM multiple campaigns throughout the years.
GM Style
I typically tend to lean more towards a "Rule of cool" style and what is fun for the players, i don't enjoy railroading them or forcing characters to do thing. I tend to change my style to match the players.
