About me

I'm a passionate, collaborative storytelling focused Game Master who specializes in Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition but is actively looking to learn more rulesets where applicable. What makes TTRPG's such an alluring concept to me is the prospect that we are all creating the story in realtime and all spring-boarding off of each other's ideas. My philosophy as a Game Master is that nothing (within reason!) is off the table, if you want to do something and it sounds exciting or engaging, you will always be met with 'you can try!'. I do my best to create as an immersive experience as possible through maps, acting, sound effects and all else in between to really allow everyone at the table to feel that they can play at their fullest potential. I have predominantly played/DM'd in real-world tables but am actively learning FoundryVTT to customise and create a memorable, personal experience for any player. It is non-negotiable and paramount to me that all players feel respected and are welcomed in a warm space for everyone to play the characters that they want and tell the stories that they want. I look forward to building an exciting story with you!

GM Style

My instinct as a storyteller and a collaborator is that my duty as a Game Master is to be the party's/player's biggest fan at the table. If you want to do something that makes the table gasp in awe or excitement, then we apply 'the rule of cool' and make it happen. Which is to say: if it's cool, let's just do it! Players will come to expect creative, loveable (and sometimes hateable!) NPC's with whimsical voices and backstories to uncover, intense combats that will always keep you on the edge of your seat between every dice roll, and plenty of moments for your character to individually shine and develop. I refer to myself as a chameleon in the way that I enjoy shaping my style based on what the players would like to see the most and know that I will always do my best to tailor according to your personal needs.
