About Josh T

Hi, I’m Josh — a professional Game Master with 24 years of tabletop experience and 21 years running games behind the screen. I’ve guided players through dozens of systems, specializing in immersive fantasy and gripping horror campaigns. Whether it’s high-stakes political intrigue, creeping cosmic dread, or character-driven epic adventures, I build worlds that feel alive and stories that matter. My GM style focuses on: • Deep player immersion • Meaningful character development • Strong narrative pacing • Atmosphere you can feel As a GM, nothing excites me more than watching players become truly invested — when the world feels real, the stakes feel personal, and the story matters. I love building settings that pull players in and stories that keep them thinking about the game long after the session ends. If you’re looking for a GM who’s prepared, enthusiastic, and dedicated to delivering memorable experiences every week, I’d love to roll some dice with you.

How Josh T runs games

I’m a storytelling-first Game Master who believes the best campaigns are the ones we build together. Collaboration is at the heart of my table. I actively involve players in shaping the world, deepening character arcs, and driving the narrative forward. Your backstory matters. Your choices matter. The story reacts. I’m a big believer in the Rule of Cool — if it’s cinematic, dramatic, and makes the table light up, we’ll find a way to make it happen. I naturally gravitate toward horror-focused games, where atmosphere, tension, and emotional investment take center stage. But even outside of horror, I love weaving in suspense and raising the stakes so victories feel earned and danger feels real.

Rules are...

Guidelines in some instances and vital in others. There are 100% times to throw the rules out in favor for telling a good story and I am mostly a rule of cool kind of GM

When it comes to voices

It’s a skill I need work on. Voices are not one of my strengths and I need practice
