About me

I have a deep love for Tabletop Roleplaying Games that has enveloped many aspects of my life (including most of my free time and much of my hobby funds lol). I started playing TTRPGs over 10 years ago and have been a DM in my current campaign going on for 5 years strong and have a passion for both the OSR and Modern styles of play. My style of running the game is to ensure that players leave my table with a good experience and memorable moments. I facilitate this by focusing on listening to feedback as well as being honest and fair. My current favorite games to play both as a GM or player are: Shadowdark, D&D 5e, Draw Steel.

GM Style

As a fan of both OSR and Modern D20 fantasy, I employ various styles to match the occasion. I never fudge dice to enforce a narrative, and usually let the story unfold by the player's decisions at the table. I encourage silly voices and creativity at my tables and often reward it. I have never had an issue with discomfort on subject matters, but do utilize communication tools both in-game as well as before and after sessions to ensure that everyone recognizes the boundaries of what is okay for everyone. I love threat and danger in my combats and even sometimes character death, provided its suitable to the type of story we are trying to tell. Most importantly, I want players to enjoy themselves and leave my table with an awesome experience.
