About Brentley
Hey adventurer! I'm BadazzBrentley and I would like to be your Dungeon Master! I’m a storyteller at heart, a longtime Dungeon Master, and someone who believes D&D is at its best when everyone has a voice—and a spotlight. I run games with a strong sense of tone, pacing, and emotion, whether we’re exploring haunted crypts or laughing over tavern drinks. My style is story-first, character-driven, and balanced—I love giving players the chance to shine in combat and roleplay. You don’t need to know the rules to join my table. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to explore a world that reacts to you. Whether you’re brand new or a lifelong adventurer, I’ll make sure you feel seen, supported, and challenged. Let’s roll some dice and tell a story worth remembering. I mostly run the pre-written modules and here's a list of the one's I would like to run for y'all. Lost Mine of Phandelver -lvls 1-4 Phandelver and Below The Shattered Obelisk - lvls 1-12 Dragon of Icespire Peak (The Essentials Kit series) - lvls 1-7 Tomb of Annihilation - lvls 1-11 I own most of the material on D&D Beyond so if you have one in mind, I just need some time to read through it and prepare.

I became a GM because
I became a GM because my first group fell apart. I'm not 100% sure of the how or why but it just didn't work out. But my wife and I had so much fun as our characters that I decided that I needed to take up the mantle of DM to continue our journey and so I did and I've loved it ever sense.
I got started GMing...
About 5 or so years ago. My wife tried to get into D&D but it wasn't until college that I joined my first D&D group and it was terrible. I won't go into the details but seeing how important the game was to my wife I decided to take the roll of dungeon master and I've loved it ever since!
How Brentley runs games
I focus on immersive storytelling, character-driven plots, and balanced gameplay. I aim to make every scene feel meaningful—whether it’s a tense battle, a roleplay-heavy tavern moment, or a quiet discovery in the wild. I create safe, inclusive spaces where players of all experience levels can contribute to the story and feel heard. My tables are respectful, emotionally grounded, and ready for both laughter and gravitas.

Rules are...
Meant to be followed for everyone to enjoy of course, however I do favor "The Rule of Cool" and "Let the dice decide". Other than that I try to keep it as close to Rules As Written (R.A.W) as possible but I won't let a rule slow down the fun.
When it comes to voices
I will try my best but I'm not a voice actor and I will totally forget what voice I gave them by the next session >XD
Brentley's ideal table
My table is open to everyone—whether you’re brand new to D&D or a seasoned adventurer. All I ask is that you show up ready to play, respect each other, and be open to telling a shared story. I welcome players who enjoy character moments, team dynamics, and immersive world-building. You don’t have to be a voice actor or a rules expert—just be curious and collaborative. My games are inclusive, player-focused, and paced to let everyone shine. If you love making choices that matter, discovering secrets, and building something cool together, you’ll fit right in.

I think metagaming...
I think metagaming is unavoidable because at the end of the day you either don't know something or have to pretend you don't know it. It's just not using what you know to benefit your PC that doesn't know. You know?
