About George

I’ve been Dm for 8 years , i mainly run my own custom worlds and stories with a lot of details, my usual campaigns are long with a splash of sandbox , because of players and wants and interests. I am open to ideas and wants from players I aim to make the game as enjoyable as possible for everyone , each party member shapes the story with actions and later sees the choices and consequences of the party in the world. I prefer keep a good pace and not waste game time with rules debate and such I do that on off gametime . I like fantasy and choices with moral dilemmas with a lot of gray npcs although depending on the story I make someone good or bad but with a good reason behind it. Combat wise I run a lot encounters , i try to have a balanced party if I can but I mainly want players to play what they want and roleplay their way . New players are always welcome I don’t mind teaching how the game works and classes I can help them visualize and find out their playstyle.

Featured Prompts

I became a GM because

I love making interesting worlds with engaging casts of characters for my players to explore and enjoy.

My favorite system of all Time is

Pathfinder i have the most resources available , i have created a lot of different things and it allows me to import many many more things for the players for me and for the world.

How George runs games

I like a mix or roleplay and combat, preferring to scale tactical complexity depending on my group. For new players, I like tos tart them off easy to teach them the ropes, then ratchet up complexity as we go. With regard to storytelling, i like to create a broad strokes narrative, then add on to it according to my player’s wants, likes and needs, adjusting to them as I go.

Featured Prompts

My games focus on...

The player characters, their actions, reactions and the outcomes out of every situation they come across.

Rules are...

Rules are important and followed but they are not worth wasting game time on minor things hence they will be resolved outside of game time unless someones life depends on it .

George's ideal table

I prefer to run my own homebrew worlds that I tailor to my party’s playstyle. Usually I set up events and NPC goals ahead of time, then adjust as I go. When it comes to rule disputes, I prefer to resolve them outside of game time and also discourage players from taking on classes and roles for the sake of optimization alone. Personally, I enjoy it when I get to teach the game to new players and watch them acclimate over time.

Featured Prompts

I love it when a player

Is Creative, meshes well with other players and gets immersed in the story they help build.

I think it's a red flag when players...

Force other players to play a specific way; it’s pointless. Forcing someone to play an alignment or build for the sake of it takes the fun away from everyone.
