About me
In 2017 I started playing D&D with a group of close family friends, and immediately fell in love with the game. In 2020 our group shut down for quarantine, and I started learning to DM. My wonderful, long suffering brother sat through me struggling with the early phases of worldbuilding and encounter design. Eventually, I picked up a pre-written module and ran my first campaign. I've been DMing ever since, and loved every second. I've run multiple games for commission, and many of my required community service hours for school have come from running a D&D game for the students. You can expect a fun and welcoming environment from my campaigns. I’m used to playing with people of all skill levels, and am always ready to teach the game to someone new. I’m comfortable running campaigns all the way to level 20. I create homebrew regularly, and am committed to helping my players create a character that specifically speaks to what they want to play. Rule of cool often supersedes rules as written in my games, especially if it makes someone’s character feel better to play. I create my own settings, which range from a nautical high-magic world of pirates to a gritty sci-fi setting filled with malevolent aliens. Overall, I bring fast paced, exciting campaigns to play, and if that sounds like your kind of game, I hope to see you at my table
GM Style
Fast paced, epic adventure. Not a lot of focus on survival or travel aspects. Often very dangerous combat, but also powerful PCs

When my son started playing D&D, his first campaign experiences were those run by Arthur. Here's what my son had to say about his experience with Arthur as a Game Master: The campaign ran by Arthur had this… magic to it. It may simply be the glow of memory, and the fact that it was my first D&D campaign ever, but that campaign had this certain little thing about it that nothing else has had. As we played through the campaign, it only got better every day. The way that he was able mot explain scenes and exchanges made me feel like I was really there, in the D&D world, seeing everything through the eyes of my character. It was a simple campaign, uncomplicated by things like politics and negations. It lacked any complexity or nuance, there were the bad guys that we fought and we were the good guys, fighting the bad guys. It was mostly realistic, dotted with moments of extreme humor that gave the campaign a flair that I have yet to see again. Multiple times I laughed so hard that I could no longer breathe! Yet Arthur’s campaign was, for the most part, dead serious. Most of the humorous moments were invented by the players, for instance when we popped a character into a sack with a snorkel. Once the campaign ended I was sad to see it go. I would myself gladly pay good money for that kind of experience.
