About me

My friends got me into playing Dungeons and Dragons, I am reminded everytime I have post session talks about the worlds and the characters I build that maybe I'm pretty good at it. I would love nothing more than to connect with others and see what characters and stories we can bring to life.

GM Style

My GM style is narration heavy, I do so enjoy making and voicing NPC's. I feel I've done a good job when someone complements a character or just simply says they enjoy listening to me go off on character driven monologues. I usually run a mix of 60% character down time and exploration and 40% combat encounters, though those combat encounters are always relating to the plot or have some reason to bump into the party. I follow rules to the best that I know how to but I follow the rule of cool more often than not, mechanics giving way to a better story or a more enjoyable experience. Missing a weapon attack in combat might open another opportunity, spotting a weakness on a monster might change the dynamics of a fight or perhaps the environment can be used in creative ways to reward the player.
