Pathfinder 2e | Campaign
About the adventure
🩸Prepare yourselves for an epic campaign spanning from level 1 - 13 (and maybe even beyond!) 🩸CAMPAIGN SYNOPSIS🩸 You've been recruited as research assistants in anticipation of a rare celestial event, taking place on a remote island in the remnants of the ancient nation known as Azlant. While there, a column of shadow erupts from the sea and washes across the sky dimming the sun and unleashing shadowy monsters. While investigaating this dangerous anomaly, you discover a ruined Azlanti prison inhabited by vampires and learn that the column of shadow was only a test run for an ancient vampire planning to use Azlanti magical technology to blot out the sky, shielding the dangers of the sun so they can escape their island prison and reunite with their lover from the times before Earthfall. 🩸New Players are always welcome! And as always, my tables are LGBTQ+ Friendly! 🩸A LITTLE ABOUT ME🩸 My name is Domenic (He/Him), and I've been GMing now for about 5 years. My day job is an attorney in lovely state of New Mexico, and I began running games on SPG to help pay off my Student Loans. I'm neurodivergent and have ADHD, so I understand the struggles that come along with them. This is why the main goal for any game I run is making sure my players have the opportunity to escape from the headaches and stress of every day life and have some fun for a few hours everyweek! My style of GMing is fairly laid back; As an attorney I love rules and love arguing rules (so for all you rule lawyers out there this is the game for you!), but I also understand that sometimes rules are meant to be broken, especially if they're getting in the way of having a good time! So if you're looking to have some fun and want to immerse yourself into a campaign of epic proportions, this is the game for you!

I have had the pleasure of playing with Dominic as my Dungeon Master for over six months in the Pathfinder 2 system, and I can confidently say he ranks among my top two GMs. Having been at many tables, I can truly appreciate his skill and dedication. As someone who is still relatively new to Pathfinder and primarily serves as a DM for 5e, I often find myself forgetting the rules and mechanics of Pathfinder 2. However, Dominic has shown incredible patience throughout our sessions. He consistently takes the time to explain everything, ensuring I feel comfortable and engaged. I particularly appreciate his encouraging phrase, “great question” when I inquire about the mechanics or role-playing aspect of a situation. His response not only validates my question but also demonstrates his commitment to thinking creatively alongside his players. This simple gesture makes a significant difference in my gaming experience. Dominic has also ventured into the Play-by-Post (PbP) format, leading a well-paced table that accommodates everyone’s posting style while keeping the storyline enjoyable and immersive. Overall, I highly recommend Dominic as an outstanding GM. His patient, creative, and engaging approach to running games makes each session a memorable experience.
As a forever GM, I'm really impressed by Domenic's ability to make the players feel like they're doing epic, heroic things, while also keeping the game challenging and full of surprises. His approach really encourages (and rewards) taking risks. He keeps encounters fast-paced and dynamic, which is not alqways easy in Pathfinder 2nd Edition!
This was my first experience with Pathfinder. I started in the middle of a campaign and Dom was extremely helpful with character creation and rule explanation. Questions were answered patiently and with plenty of detail. Dom strives to make sure everyone enjoys the session and I would highly recommend to new or experienced players!

How to prepare
🩸At the very least, players will need to have internet access with a working headset and access to discord 🩸Player's should also have their character sheets created by the first time we play (A completed backstory is not necessary for the first few sessions) 🩸Knowing the rules and lore of Pathfinder 2e (and even 1e) is great, but not necessary. 🩸New players are more than welcome! 🩸LGBTQ+ players are more than welcome!
What I provide
Players can expect from me: 🩸Tokens for their characters 🩸Maps and handouts, both custom made and those included in the module 🩸Music and Ambiance 🩸Dedicated Discord Server filled with world lore, session recaps, and much more 🩸Unique and well thought out character arcs 🩸Access to all source material currently and subsequently owned 🩸A small token of my appreciation upon completing the campaign!
Gameplay details
🩸As with any adventure, situations and encounters may arise which may not be listed in the content warning above which some may find triggering. Prior to the start of this campaign I will discuss with players which topics they'd like to see off limits and adjust the campaign accordingly.🩸

How will character creation work
Ideally, I'd like all players to have their character sheets created prior to the start of the campaign. When it comes to backstory, it can be as simple or as detailed as you like, and does not have to be completely ready by the start of the campaign, allowing more time to flush out specifics as needed. I will, of course, help you each step of the way and will write your backstory for you if desired (with your input of course!). Bellow I've provided more specifics to this process- 🩸CHARACTER CREATION🩸 🩸Virtual Tabletop: Foundry VTT 🩸Starting Level: 1 🩸Ancestry: No restrictions 🩸Class: No Restrictions 🩸Alignment: Any alignment 🩸Variant Rules: Free Archetype, Ancestral Paragon, and Relics 🩸Play test, home brew, and 3rd party resources should be okay but must be run by me first 🩸HOUSE RULES🩸 🩸Critical Hit and Fumble Deck (So long as all players are on board) 🩸All spell casters start with the following innate spells: Light, Prestidigitation, Detect Magic, Sigil, and Message 🩸Spell Casters: If you prepare spells for the day, you only need to prepare your highest 2 levels, the rest of your spell slots you can spontaneously cast 🩸Hero Points: If using a hero point and you roll a below a 10, you will have +10 added to the result of your roll 🩸Hero Points: You can use a hero point to make the GM re-roll a roll, or give another player your hero point if they are out 🩸All characters will gain 2 Free Lore Skills of your choosing to be Trained in 🩸Recall Knowledge is a free action 🩸Using a consumable is 1 action (you don't need to spend an action to retrieve the consumable)
