About Daisy Stridinger (DnDaisies)

Let's tell some amazing stories together! My name is Daisy (she/her) and I'm a professional GM, artist, and writer. I have been running D&D and TTRPG campaigns for over 20 years and have been professionally GMing for over 2. I love handing over the reins of the story to my players and adjusting the story to whatever ideas they come up with. I always love to encourage my players to take agency of the story, and to be creative with their decisions and abilities! My tables are open to players of any experience level, and I'm always happy to teach new players. I am offering a variety of games at different timeslots, and while I only speak English, non-native English speakers are always welcome! Each of my games starts with an in-depth Session 0 to ensure player safety and cover table expectations. My games are custom-tailored to the characters my players come up with, incorporating unique NPCs, Locations, and Story Hooks. If you are interested in a One-Shot or a campaign not listed, please feel free to reach out and we can discuss some options!

I became a GM because

I love telling stories collaboratively with other players, and seeing where the players in my games drive the narrative.

My favorite system of all Time is

Monster of the Week - I'm a huge sucker for that style of TV show, and love the spooky, supernatural setting mixed with the wonderful, story-focused mechanics of the system

The three words my players would use to describe me are...

Creative, Inclusive, and "Hard to Stump"

How Daisy Stridinger (DnDaisies) runs games

Here is what you can expect out of one of my sessions: - A safe space for LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and disabled players. - A welcoming space for players of all experience levels - A space that encourages creativity and collaborative play - Music to help set the atmosphere and a virtual table-top to keep track of things - Storylines and NPCs that revolve around your characters and backstories - Encounters and problems that can't always be solved with violence (though they often can be) - Use of consent forms and safety tools to ensure player safety at the table.

I deal with rules issues by...

Open communication with the table, rooted in a balance between what the Rules as Written say vs Encouraging player creativity and fun

My games focus on...

Exploring the Characters' backstories and motives while working together with the table to create a compelling and interesting story together.

When it comes to voices

I might always be the most consistent, but I role-play each NPC fully, and do my best to bring the world to life for my players.

Daisy Stridinger (DnDaisies)'s ideal table

I love it when players use creativity to solve problems. When it comes to the plot, whatever I've prepared always comes second to where the story goes when we sit down to play. While I enjoy a good mix of humor and serious tones, I think it's important to respect the moment at the table, and not undermine a scene that a player is emotionally involved in. My games tend to be more open ended, with the players in control of where we go and what happens during gameplay. I don't enjoy railroading my party, and prefer to offer in-character incentives for different story hooks available to the party. | My campaigns tend to be long-running, without a specific end date or level set.

I am for a vibe that's...

relaxing and fun, while also providing challenges to the characters. An emotionally driven story, collaboratively told by all members at the table.

I love it when a player

surprises me at the table!

My perfect party mix is

respectful of each other's characters and the scene that's being played out. A perfect party knows when to use humor, and when to allow a scene to be serious. They engage with the world on a personal level with their characters, finding new stories to tell along the way.
