About Brenden
Welcome, adventurers! I’ve always been fascinated by D&D, and even before I had anyone to play with, I was building my own world just for the fun of it. Now, I’m diving straight into DMing with a fully homebrew campaign set in the world I’ve been crafting. What excites me most about DMing is the creativity and storytelling. It’s such a fun way to bring ideas to life, and nothing beats seeing players connect with the world and stories I’ve created. I like to keep things flexible—I’ll set up the framework, but I love when players go off-script or come up with creative ideas, and I try to make those moments work in a way that feels real and immersive. My main goal is for everyone to have fun, but I also want to create moments that stick with you—whether it’s mystery, suspense, or characters you can’t help but love (or love to hate).

I became a GM because
I like creating stories and building things. I enjoy seeing how people react to what I've created.
People are always surprised when I tell them
How much DM experience i have after they played a session with me.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Either working, a leisure activity or prepping and expanding my world.
How Brenden runs games
My DM style is all about making the story immersive and memorable, with plenty of room for players to get creative and explore their ideas. I focus more on the narrative and fun than rigidly sticking to the rules, and I love tweaking or expanding things to make the game feel unique. For me, it’s about balancing mystery, emotion, and epic moments while keeping the game flexible and player-driven.

I once ran a session...
of lvl 16 players at an expo with only 10 months of DM experience, players were shocked when i told them how long ive been doing this
My games focus on...
My game focuses on building a world that reacts to the players. I craft quests around their characters, mixing light-hearted fun with serious, often intense challenges. Whether it’s a carnival or a monster den, it’s their story—and I make sure it feels that way.

I fall short
Brenden's ideal table
My table is collaborative, character-driven, and flexible. Make a character you care about—tragic, goofy, noble, violent, whatever—and I’ll build the world around them. I support roleplay-heavy folks, combat lovers, quiet players, and chaos gremlins alike. The story will reflect the group. Just bring respect, and a willingness to play off each other.

I love it when a player
I love it when a player engages and speaks their mind—whether it’s in character, about the world, or just vibing at the table. I’ll always listen.
I think metagaming...
should be used carefully. I’ll challenge it if it steps on immersion or character decisions. Fun comes first, but so does the story.
My table is not the place for...
players who don’t care about the world, who tune out until it’s their turn, or who shut down other people’s fun.
