About Jason B
I've been running D&D games since the 1980's and have experience with almost every edition. I enjoy playing and running games with a strong balance between social interaction, exploration (including dungeon crawling, puzzle solving, questing, and treasure-seeking!), and combat. I want to run games because it's what I love to do! I want to bring the joy of my favorite game, D&D, to both new and experienced players of all ages. Everyone 18+ is welcome at my table (virtual or otherwise) as long as they abide by these simple rules: 1) Players must have the desire and ability to cooperate with the DM and other players to tell a great story and have tremendous amounts of fun... no being a jerk because "It's what my character would do."; 2) No bigotry, sexism, racism, homophobia, or transphobia; 3) A bit of adult conversation is fine, but be considerate of other people's feelings and limits. If you can do the above, I want to play D&D with you!

How Jason B runs games
I love to cooperate with players to tell stories. Players can have as simple or as rich of a backstory as they want and I will try to incorporate their ideas into my adventures. All types of players are welcome, whether they're heavy role players or don't like to write backstories or speak in character at all. We'll make it work! That said, I am old school, and my rulings may not always agree with the rules as written (although if I break or change a rule there is always a good reason). I'm about doing what makes the most sense and what provides the most fun! I love inventing intriguing puzzles for my players to solve, creating fun and interesting NPCs to interact with, and setting up challenging combats for the player characters to overcome. I run all sorts of adventures, but expect a heavy dose of dungeon crawling, as that is my favorite aspect of D&D!
