11/10 GM, knows the rules but also can make a call on the fly that is always logical and fair. This old grognard highly recommends playing a game with him

Dan is a very experienced DM who takes his role seriously when trying to get it right (rules-wise) but also appreciates the golden rule of "We're here to have fun" and "It' might not technically work like that, but it makes a better story, so we'll go with it". I have appreciated his patience and experience as a fellow player as well as a player whilst he was the GM. I cannot recommend him more highly and look forward to gaming with him as often as possible.

I've been playing RPGs with him for around 20 years and I can say, without a doubt, that Dan is an incredible GM. He's knowledgable in many different systems and he puts in a tremendous amount of time to prepare for his sessions. He gives his players the freedom to forge their own path, but he also stays true to the story and doesn't pull any punches. His main goal is for the party members to have a great time, and he delivers on that evvery session. Whether you're a seasoned player or just getting into the RPG world, Dan is a great fit for all types of players.

Dan is who got me into role playing. He's an incredibly creative and fun loving guy, who gives a wonderful mix of story, combat, and RP. Dan's love for the game and story really shines through as a GM. He can present challenging scenarios and puzzles as effective and easily as he can world building. Cannot suggest Dan enough as a GM!

Great game knowledge, funny and casual but also able to have very serious and emotional moments. Comes to games prepared and puts on a good show. 11/10 would recommend. Dude loves gnomes, make sure to play one in his games. Inclusive and respectful to special requests.
