I'm William, I'm 25, and I've been described as a stereotypical nerd my whole life. I’ve been playing D&D for over 6 years now (5 years DMing), and I am infatuated with the game. Most of my rulings are based off RAI, though I do allow for rule of cool if the intent is to entertain rather than power game.

How Will runs games
At the end of the day I want your characters to feel like heroes. That said, it needs to be earned. Every encounter should feel deadly, but when it's over I want you to look back and be proud of what your characters accomplished. I love the roleplay aspect of tabletop games above all else. I would have no issue going through an entire session without a single dice being rolled. However, don't get me wrong. I also enjoy a good combat encounter as well. In the end though I do wish to cater to the players. Not every person wants to debate the role of leadership with a king. Not every person wants to roleplay helping every person they encounter. I have played most variations and genres that the game allows one to explore. I know how to write a murder mystery. I can do political intrigue. If the party just wants pure combat I can provide that as well.
