I became a GM because

Truly theres nothing better than seeing the FEAR in your players eyes while running a high level game, and then just saying..."Does a 35 hit?" ITS SO FUN, REALLY REALLY it is. And i know they feel the same..because they ask me the same.. "Hey dm, does a uh. natural 20 plus 19 hit?"

My favorite books are

Oh oh, its time for me to geek out. SO, if youve ever read "the Supernaturalists", "Harry potter and the half blood prince". These two are my most loved books ever. Get in bed at night, open a candle and just..enjoy them. Get lost in the fantasy. "john dies at the end" is also cool-

When I'm not running games I'm...

Either I'm playing some games, Doing commissions and/or planning VIGOROUSLY. Genuinely, I enjoy the "lazy dm" idea.. But I cant do it, I need to plan! Its so fun when your plans actually come to fruition! When you see how I run games, you'll definitely see how I plan.

How TorvernOfficial runs games

I love crafting a Roleplay and combat rich environment without removing from either. You prefer combat? Tell me and ill account for that. I Employ a adaptive style that changes to how the players want/need it.

My games focus on...

I love intermixing and experimenting with different types of games... For example, I would add roleplay to combat, and maybe a lil-..combat to roleplay? Its very adaptable and depends on the campaign and my players. Since not everyone likes combat/roleplay as much as the others.

When it comes to voices

I enjoy putting in slightly different voices for my characters.. Not in an overbearing way, just enough to convey their Personality. Such as a Throaty and guttural voice for nobles and big creatures. With a soft-spoken and high pitched voice for shy ones. Not necessarily a full change of voice.

Honestly, i love players that adore working together/as their character. And actually take the games seriously. Players that have fun instead of trying to "win". I Usually run difficult games that actually take thinking power and genuine thought. If you adore grimdark/Dark and even High fantasy games with genuine love put into the story you'll love mine. I make complex characters with honest wants and needs. If you want proper roleplay with minimal combat I can do that. Maybe even full combat with some roleplay i can do that too. I even make Homebrew subclasses, races and other things to make my players feel at home. It all depends on how you want it!

I love it when a player

I LOVE IT, when they help to build the world WITH me. I love it when players want to change their characters on the go, and they dont just complain about stats or enemies I love it when they communicate and ask for help. Its a communal game where people work with each other, not against.
