About Jay
Like most, I caught the gaming bug at an early age and never lost it. Got involved with AD&D and Superhero games like Villains and Vigilantes, Marvel, Champions, etc. Got into Star Wars D6 and just enjoyed what gaming had to offer. Decades later still loving it and want to explore it in this space. But experience alone doesn't make a good GM. I pride myself on getting to know my players, giving them opportunity for agency within the story. I lay the groundwork, they traverse it as only they can, and we all have fun in the process.

How Jay runs games
The main reason I love TTRPGs is the symbiotic relationship between GM & Players. I believe a game is at its best when players and GM collaborate towards a fun & entertaining shared experience! Even though I enjoy a good TV show or movie, I was even more dialed into my own weekly installment of drama through the various subsystems of TTRPGs, which ran the gamut from Superhero to Medieval Fantasy to Horror to Sci-Fi. Needless to say I was up for anything, being a fan of the cinematic.
Jay's ideal table
I'd say players that like a chill table w/ a relaxed vibe, I like to keep things semi-humorous but for the most part, it's organic development of the players relationships with each other and their characters in game. Humor tends to a do alot for that, but it can also build to the eventual dramatic moments that make gaming great.
