About Dominic

I started my TTRPG journey nearly 22 years ago. When my dad and his friends would play D&D 2.0 every weekend. While I was only 7 years old at the time, it was compelling to play a game where creativity thrives. Eventually I got my friends into the game some 8 years later, finding myself nearly as a "forever GM". I have found games to play in, ranging from a number of systems. I learned alot as a player. As a GM, I try my best to create a safe space where everyone can tap into their creative juices. I focus on collaboration between players, offering compelling choices, and making memorable stories. While I started with D&D 2.0, I found my home with Star Wars by FFG, and A Song of Ice and Fire by Green Ronin. As the worlds are very much well established, which allows for more focus on the story, and less time goes into the foundation the world. I prefer ASOIAF, as it's where the majority my passion lies, and also it better fits my GMing style without asking the players to compromise on something like "Low Fantasy D&D". Expect exceptional personalized storytelling that will leave you eager to continue playing. I am super kind, patient, and believe in keeping the game moving forward.

How Dominic runs games

Storytelling above all else. Steeped in realism, I believe in providing players with a platform that makes immersion seamless. Be prepared for gritty, compelling, and challenging gameplay. "Rules as Intended" over "Rules as Written" Any expanded house rules will be disclosed ahead of time. Expansive resources are provided for all games I host. Production Value: Medium-High. As someone who is neurodivergent, I understand the importance of establishing expectations. It's better for everyone involved if they understand what's to come, what's off limits, and what may lurk around the corner. I strongly shy away from sexual violence, and would avoid placing my players in positions where their characters don't have a choice. If I anticipate a scene of extreme violence, or another serious tone- I will give players a warning ahead of time. These would be few and far in between, but sometimes necessary in the world of A Song of Ice and Fire. With proper management, these expectations will be sorted out long before they occur, and would never have the intent of offending the players, but would act as a catalyst for characters to take action, pick a side, or generate interest in taking down the antagonist.
