About Nicholas Reed

Greetings, adventurers! I am Nick, a Dungeon Master with 12 years of experience. I run tactical, combat focused Organized Play games that will challenge all adventurers fairly, but with resource management, positioning, and teamwork, victory will be earned! All my games run on Owlbear Rodeo, which we use like its a table we're all sitting around. No overly fancy bells and whistles, allowing us to hop on in and focus on the action and adventure! If you enjoy structured play, Organized Play, immersive objective focused adventures, dungeon crawls, and high-octane combat, you will have a wonderful time at my table! I promise a consistent schedule, clear communication, and a professional attitude - we will always start on time if possible, and I promise a respectful environment for all. How Nicholas Reed runs games

I love objective focused adventures, tactical combat, and a fast pace! I thrive in a game where the combat is pulse racing, the players are engaged with the story, and there is a lore-filled environment to explore. Outside of combat, I love NPC interactions and puzzles and hidden features in the environment. First person roleplaying - "I swing my sword at the goblin!" - is encouraged, but I want everyone to be comfortable. Third person roleplaying - "Marcus swings his sword at the goblin!" - is perfectly valid and awesome! I run my games on Owlbear Rodeo so that we can just focus on the maps and "minis" - tokens - as if we we're sitting around the kitchen or basement table! The most complicated the VTT will ever get with me is fog of war when exploring. If you're looking for a GM who gives you tactical but fair combat, objective focused adventuring, and environments filled with lore, secrets, and puzzles, then I can't wait to facilitate your adventuring!

You will get a well paced adventure and combat victories that feel truly earned with me! New players are always welcome at my table! Just have a basic grasp on the rules for your character and be willing to trust me as your DM and go with the pace! I promise, you'll learn as you roll! If you want to rules lawyer, play other peoples characters for them, or play characters designed to ruin the experience for everyone else, this is not the table for you.
