I just love the game. The being able to use your mind and your creativity to transport yourself to a distant land and write yourself into a fantastic story is such a cool experience. Being able to facilitate that experience for others is an incredible privilege.

How DJ Insidevoice runs games
I think Rule of Cool trumps everything as long as the dice gods will it to be so. I enjoy playing a 'rules lite' version of the game, allowing the story to dynamically evolve and for players to flex their creative muscle. That said, I pride myself on my encounter design. I love building complex and dynamic encounters that give my players a large degree of flexibility and choice in how they approach a problem.
