About Elem - DM

Hello everyone ! I am an experiend DM, who has been creating games and stories for about 6 years at this point. I have played a decent number of systems, but specifically DM the good old DnD 5e, both the 2014 and 2024 rulesets. As for the Tavern of Tales, that is the name of my discord server where all the games are run, as well as a place to bond and meet other TTRPG enthusiasts. All the games will be run using it for Voice and either Foundry or Roll20 as the VTT.

How Elem - DM runs games

I love roleplay, and do like to have NPC plotlines, as well as creating memories. My favourite moments are when the players actually bond with NPCs, to the point that they remember them years later. With that in mind though, I also like to create and homebrew challenging creatures and combat encounters. After all, no matter what combat and RP do go hand in hand. I like to think of myself as pretty flexible. I adjust to the group needs and what they'd enjoy, be that more rp, or more combat.

When it comes to voices

I am not the best at them. I can not really do accents, however I still try to use manneurisms, speech pattern and general behavior to showcase one NPC, and make them different. As well as Voicemod.

Elem - DM's ideal table

My ideal table would be anyone who is willing to take the game both seriously when needed, as well as goof and joke around out of character/when appropriate. I love to joke around when it is possible myself, by making meta jokes, or just chatting with the players in general. However, I still do very character heavy and serious moments, so ideal player would be someone who can appreciate both.
