About Gambit
Hello fellow nerds! I’m Gambit and I’ve been deep in the tabletop RPG world for about 10 years now, mostly behind the GM screen. I started off with D&D 5e, but these days Pathfinder 2e has completely stolen my time. The detailed rules and build options scratch the same itch as good storytelling for me. I love digging into the numbers and systems just as much as I love roleplaying interesting characters or crafting adventures for my players. Whether it’s a social scene, a tough boss fight, or a night that goes completely off the rails, I’m all about making sure everyone’s having a great time at the table.

I got started GMing...
I got started GMing because, like so many others, no one else at the table wanted to do it. What began as a reluctant “I’ll run this one so we can play” quickly turned into one of my favorite hobbies and honestly, one of my biggest passions.
My favorite system of all Time is
My favorite system of all time is Pathfinder 2e. It hits the perfect balance between tactical depth and creative freedom. I love how its mechanics encourage smart choices, teamwork, and character growth. Plus I love how every rule supports the narrative instead of limiting it.
When I'm not running games I'm...
When I’m not running games, I’m usually diving headfirst into just about every corner of nerd culture I can find. Whether I’m painting miniatures until the early hours, binging through an anime series, or replaying Skyrim for the 80th time.
How Gambit runs games
When it comes to running games, I’m all about the balance between strategy and story. Pathfinder 2e’s combat system is easily one of my favorite parts of the game. I adore the aspects of teamwork, the tactical choices, and those moments when a perfectly planned move actually pays off. I love seeing a party work together like a real team of adventures , where everyone’s strengths shine! Outside of combat, I’m just as into the quieter moments. Things like the skill checks that surprise everyone, the tense or funny bits of dialogue between characters, and the emotional moments that make the story feel alive. I especially enjoy when players get attached to their characters and each other; that’s when the magic really happens.

I deal with rules issues by...
I deal with rules issues by keeping references close at hand, ready to check quickly when questions come up. I believe in keeping the game flowing, so I’ll make a fair ruling in the moment if needed, then look up the official answer afterward if it’s important for future sessions.
When it comes to voices
When it comes to voices, I do my best to make sure every NPC has something unique that helps them stand out, whether it’s a distinct accent, speech pattern, or personality quirk. I love giving characters their own flavor so players can instantly tell who they’re talking to.
Gambit's ideal table
My table is a great fit for you if: You enjoy a story-driven experience where character growth and narrative depth take center stage without losing the satisfying tactical challenge of combat. You want a living world that responds to your decisions, where your actions shape the story and influence the people around you. You love when that flavor feat or quirky backstory choice ends up playing a meaningful role in your character’s journey. You’re excited to build a story together, working with your GM and fellow players to create something unique and memorable. You value a welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative environment, where everyone at the table feels safe to express themselves and have fun.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
If you’re into the idea of being heroes truly stepping into the boots of characters who stand up when others can’t you’re going to love my table. I run games where heroism isn’t just about rolling high or winning fights; it’s about heart, courage, and the choices that define who your character is.
I think min/maxing...
I think min/maxing can absolutely have a place at the table as long as it’s done with respect for the game and for everyone else playing it. As long as players aren’t trying to break the game or overshadow others, I’m all for clever builds and mechanical mastery that enhance the adventure.
My table is not the place for...
My table is not the place for cruelty or discrimination. The world can be harsh enough as it is, and I believe our games should offer a little light against that darkness. I want my games to be a space where evil can be challenged and ultimately vanquished by good people working together.
