I became a GM because
I find it more engaging to create the scenarios and allow others to play them out!
My favorite books are
really anything by Terry Pratchett, Wheel of Time, Lord of the Rings, Dragonlance
When I'm not running games I'm...
playing Magic the Gathering, practicing Spanish, reading my endless list of fantasy novels, or coaching others to be better Game Masters!
How Mark - Cloak of Coaching runs games
I focus on what is fun in the core systems/settings I run and to include each of those ingredients. For most systems and games I like to mix in for each session: 🫚 Plenty of comedic and serious role play 🧄 A handful of dungeon delving and puzzles 🧅 A strong helping of engaging and tactical combat All to make the best mix of campy and serious moments to ensure fun for all!

I prep by
creating 5 core scenes with some supporting secrets, monster stat blocks, and rewards. Nothing too crazy so I can focus on roleplay and you, the players!
My games focus on...
the three core tenants of TTRPGs: puzzles, roleplay, and combat!
Rules are...
great as a baseline but shouldn't always get in the way of fun!

Featured Prompts
If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
Terry Pratchett novels
I love it when a player
feeds off of the scene and energy that I bring to the table, bringing their own!
I think metagaming...
holds back from the fun of roleplaying! While it's impossible to not use it at times, everyone should try to not let it get in the way of playing their characters.
