About Alias
I enjoy playing and making stories. I like a good balance of Combat, Roleplay, and Story. I see TTRPGS like Pathfinder and D&D as a medium not a game. The potential to tap into is vast, and I wish to challenge that as much as I can. I am a inspiring artist and writer, and hope you find my games compelling, thought provoking, and fun as there will be the goofy and not so serious moments mixed with the serious moments. I am also big into player freedom, as that is the core fundamental in these games. Player freedom is what makes TTRPGS a unique medium that even Video Games cannot replicate fully. Should also expect custom maps and story. I make my own maps and make them with the intent of a game design for fun, and make my own monsters with the same philosphy similar to original halo mixed with doom where they all play a role and its just not "Go for the guy infront of me"

I became a GM because
I love the medium of it's story telling and game design the most.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Pathfinder 1e, ShadowRunner 5e, and Stars without numbers.
My favorite books are
Interview with a Vampire, Moonfall series, The Drow series, and I also really enjoy RWBY books.
How Alias runs games
I like a mix of Roleplay and Combat. I think Combat is why we are here, but the roleplay aspect is also important. Having a reason for combat, and making options to avoid combat is important to me. When players go into my sessions, I make sure everyone is apart of the story one way or another and work with you to make your background to be more aligned with the main plot if they desire to. I also prefer "Cool" and "Fun" then rules, Ill be more then happy workshop something balanced to do what you want if the system doesn't provide it.

I prep by
Looking at my player's goals, their character's goals, and then making sessions for them.
My games focus on...
A mix of Combat and Roleplay. Combat is why we are here, if you want just roleplay go to a Roleplay server, if you want just combat you got Tactical RPGS. TTRPGS provide both that nothing else can.
Rules are...
Important for a base, but not a end all be all.
Alias's ideal table
Players who are interested in a story, creative, and willing to find unique ways to solutions. I like making puzzles that aren't your conventional puzzles, but instead a combat puzzle.

I love it when a player
Out smarts what I had planned.
I think metagaming...
Is dumb, like dog you are playing a PVE TTRPG game, its not that serious.
My table is not the place for...
People who are only for the Combat, or just want to break the game.
