About Vakarian

Hey there! I’m Vakarian, a character-driven DM who believes the best D&D campaigns are stories we can create together. I started playing D&D online during Covid and quickly became the forever DM in my circles. Six years later, I’m still here, still rolling dice, and still obsessed with telling great stories. My games put roleplay, character development, and narrative first. I want your character to feel like they truly belong in the world; not just as an adventurer passing through it, but as someone whose choices, relationships, victories, and failures actually shape the story. I love giving players meaningful decisions, memorable NPCs, complicated villains, and moments where you stop thinking about the dice and start thinking about what your character would really do. I want to create space for the dramatic victory, the heartbreaking loss, the genuinely terrifying moment, and the five-minute detour that leaves the entire table crying with laughter. The best campaigns have both epic moments and ridiculous ones. I've been running campaigns consistently for 6 years, completing 17 full campaigns and countless one-shots both in person and online. That's 350+ sessions, including a three-year, 80-session campaign, and over 2,100 hours logged on Roll20. I'm now looking to get started on Start Playing!
