About Raistlin Drake
I have been a gamer for most of my life, being a second generation TTRPG player who learned how to make a character while I was in elementary school for 3e D&D. I love Tabletop roleplaying games, and I'd love to make them my livelihood if possible.

I got started GMing...
On Roll20! I was running my first real game for a group of people I randomly met, and lied about my age to convince them I was 18 at the time XD
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Conan 2d20 (With buckets of homebrew) L5R 5th Edition and probably more recently Pathfinder 2e
My favorite shows/movies are
Oh man, Castlevania, most of the MCU, I have a deep love for Berserk, the old Conan Movie, Hellsing Ultimate, DBZ Abridged, Invincible, Dragonheart, and all of the Star Wars movies.
How Raistlin Drake runs games
I have a large mixture of roleplay and combat I like to focus on. I adore personal, character driven stories and deep roleplay. But I also love to get to the nitty gritty combat and building fun encounters. I have a deep love for horror, and making myself and my players cry.

I once ran a session...
That ran for 12 hours, and it was one of the most chaotic sessions I've ever had. Once you get over that 6 hour mark for me, its so hard to keep my head centered. But it was also some of the most fun I ever had.
My games focus on...
Character driven stories, romance, daring adventure and adventuring.
Rules are...
Made to be followed until the point where they inhibit the fun of the game, then thrown out the window with a rope tied to a pully system to pull them back in when we need them.
Raistlin Drake's ideal table
A fun group of friends, enjoying themselves and being able to joke and be emotional about the game.

Trauma bonding
I love it when a player
Dives deep into their character, backstory or mindset, and tries to approach a situation from the view of their character. Its so important to me that people play their characters and enjoy the world in front of them.
I think min/maxing...
Has a place, but needs to be tempered with a level of focus on the character and the story. Why is your character so good at this thing? What has brought them to this point?
