About Anton
I'm Anton. I'm in my 40s, and I've been storyteller all my life. I came to role play about 2015 in the form of LARPing, though I found most of the systems are quite hard to get any plot to yourself unless you're friends with the games team, so when I came to TTRPGs during lockdown I fell in love immediately. I've been playing about 5 years and DMing for about 4, and have even started voice acting off the back of my TTRPG experience. It only makes sense to start running games professionally. I am very much on the side of Rule of Cool and RP heavy games, though I like to throw in plenty of combat too, and hopefully, make my combat a little less straightforward than usual. I like to be the architect of my worlds, so expect home brew settings, and maybe some rules borrowed from other games or 3rd party material, but everything we use is available to view on the discord. I like to stay organised. Most of all, I want you to have fun, and get a little lost in my world.

I got started GMing...
Because I wasn't happy with the sorts of games I was finding myself in, all combat, almost no RP or talking to other team mates, just one combat encounter after another. So I made a world to run games in where combat wasn't the only thing that happens
How Anton runs games
I am a role play based DM. If you're into your Matt Mercer and Brennan Lee Mulligan style games, that's what I like to play. There's plenty of combat, but rarely combat for combats sake, and if there's a dungeon crawl, there is a narrative reason for it. That said, if you're not an actor or confident enough to jump right in to speaking as your character, you're very welcome at my table, I like to think I'm good at welcoming people into the hobby and coaching them slowly into role play. I primarily play games in my own world, Kalyps, in which gods and magic have been gone some 2000 years, but are starting to make their way back into the world. The session style I prefer is to emulate in person games, so Discord, cameras on and VTTS only for combat, though I supply you with lots of maps, images, puzzles, riddles, and try to make everything as interactive as possible.

My games focus on...
roleplay and problem solving. I want to give people a chance to be heroes, not just fight one battle after another.
Rules are...
more like guidelines than actual rules
When it comes to voices
you do what you're comfortable with. I like to do voices and sometimes even get paid to do so.
Anton's ideal table
Ideally in person, or as close to it as possible. Online, I like to use discord, cameras on, real dice and make it as close to playing with friends as possible. After all the idea is to have fun right? I use VTTs where necessary, but I like to give you other content: maps, letters, puzzles and interactions with colourful characters

I love it when a player
improvises. Try weird ideas, use parts of the scenery in a fight, try to solve the puzzle using *interesting* methods.
I think min/maxing...
Makes complete sense. You do you, but remember the more powerful you are, the harder I have to make the challenges
My table is not the place for...
above table politics, bigotry or prejudice
