About Dan L.
For over thirty years I've enjoyed exploring new systems at the table. While I've played every edition of D&D since 2nd, I have spent most of my time using other systems. I love systems like West End's D6 and Savage Worlds because they allow for dynamic action and don't rely on characters filling specific classes or narrow roles. While I am from the American Midwest, I have lived in Scotland since 2017. I enjoy widening my perspective through travel and new experiences.

How Dan L. runs games
When running a campaign I enjoy reactive simulation sandboxes. The players actions should send ripples through any planned plot. Settings should be richly detailed and feel lived in. Planned modules are a great framework, but every group should experience it in their own way. If you want to spend time between sessions excitedly planning to run an in-game business, impressing a local leader or hoping for your characters to form their own secret society then I would be an excellent choice for your GM.
