Thinking about them,

How Colin runs games

Hello Adventurers! As an experienced DM, I am an adept planner with a narrative focus. I split 50/50 with role play and combat. I keep it PG-13 with some flexibility on certain topics. Amicable on conflicts, clear on communication, I plan things out but I'm not afraid to improvise and let the campaign evolve as the story unfolds. I want to weave player's backstories into the game to make them feel a part of the world. While always rooting for the players, I respect my antagonists enough to make them intelligent, three dimensional characters with an agenda. Victory tastes the sweetest by overcoming real challenges with stakes. I believe in the three pillars of play: combat, roleplaying, and exploration. Meet me at the table

Colin's ideal table

My table vibe tends to be lade back, fun having, but people who are hear to enjoy the game, its ok to crack joke at my table, but for the most part every one is hear to get into a roll and have a good time. every one gets a chance to shine.
