About Daniel K.
Have been playing and DMing DND 5e since 2020. Started out learning how to play so I can run a game for my nephews, and then expanded out to go from there. More focused on the role playing and fun aspect of the games, and show an importance on helping newer players learn how to play in a safe environment to enjoy the game as much as I do. As long as you are respectful of others, you are welcome at my tables.

I got started GMing...
After my sister and her boys watched Stranger Things, they wanted to get into playing D&D. So she reached out to me and asked me to DM for them. That is what started me on my journey of playing and DMing for the last 5 years.
How Daniel K. runs games
I tend to run a flexible style of game. First and foremost, I am here to help tell a story with you. My games tell the tales of how individuals become heroes. Fun roleplaying and story elements create the base, and then we mix in challenging combat and adventurers, puzzles (sometimes, as these are usually a love/hate item), and creative solutions to create a fun (and usually chaotic) experience. My expertise is in helping guide new players on not only the rules of the game, but also providing them a safe place to journey out of their comfort zone into a world or adventure that for many does not exist.

My games focus on...
role playing and storytelling. I like to facilitate the story of how a group of individuals become heroes.
When it comes to voices
I am not good at voices. I have a few I can pull out, but I tend to separate things more with inflections and tones, and not necessarily voices.
Daniel K.'s ideal table
My table is designed for people who would like to role play and have a fun experience together. Everyone is welcome at the table as long as they are considerate to others and are willing to work as part of a group. We are all inclusive, and do not tolerate hate, bigotry, racism, homophobia, or discrimination in any form. For players who are looking to play the "lone wolf" character, those who just want to create the ideal paper character and not involve themselves in the story, or those who do not want to be part of a group would probably not enjoy my games as much. You are of course welcome, but I wanted to be up front about my style.
