About me

Hello, I'm Brandon! I have been playing TTRPGs for over 10 years and have seen an array of systems since my teenage years ever since picking up my first ever Dark Heresy book. I am interested in the universe of Warhammer, both 40k and fantasy, and love any systems that covers the occult and modern fantasy. My favorite systems are Warhammer Fantasy, Rogue Trader, Unknown Armies, Delta Green and World of Darkness. Ever since my adolescent years, TTRPGS has consumed itself as the peak of my nerdy interests. I got involved with a Warhammer 40k roleplaying club and played from Dark Heresy all the way to Only War. Subsequently, I got into its fantasy equivalent and clung to that pretty fast. When I'm not behind the GM screen, I like to watch movies with my partner on the couch and give my kitten plenty of scratches. I am on the autism spectrum and take no mercy on telling people of my hyper fixations on my interests in film, history, video games, and naturally: TTRPGS. I consider myself a cinephile and writer at heart. Whatever I put into my games, it's most likely inspired by the various media I have watched.

GM Style

I am predominantly a PbP (Play-by-Post) GM. This allows me to eliminate issues of scheduling and also better suit my skills as a writer. Plus, I want to be able to open the floor for players who are not comfortable with voice games. A goal I want as a paid GM is to give you a first hand experience of my work; therefore, the first week shall be free to play. After the first week of posting has passed, you are free to stay on board or leave the game if it is not to your liking. Another goal is to set a minimum posting limit on myself as a GM to make sure the pace goes steadily forward. As an avid writer, I believe dialogue and story to be important aspects of the campaign. Utilizing skills as a screenwriter from college, I want to be able to integrate thematic feel to my characters and scenes. Player agency is important to me. The story only feels fun and engaging if the player is able to tell this story alongside me. I am happy running homebrew or existing modules and I am able to tailor the experience to your expectations. I welcome new and old adventurers alike and will take the time during Session 0 to make sure they are acclimated to the rules and the themes to expect within the game.
