About me
Hello! I'm an experienced GM that has been running games for over 15 years, including systems such as D&D, Call of Cthulhu, FATE, and various PbtA games and smaller indie games. I'm also a tabletop game designer and published author with several tabletop game credits to my name, including Chaosium's "Alone Against the Tide" for the Call of Cthulhu product line. I'm open-minded and flexible and happy to accommodate player needs as best I am able to in service of creating a safe and healthy play environment. I like to run character-driven narratives with open-ended stories, but am just as comfortable running premade campaign and adventure modules. Always willing to learn new systems as well, though I certainly have my favorites!
GM Style
I like to run character-driven narratives with open-ended stories, but am just as comfortable running premade campaign and adventure modules. Big on character immersion and roleplaying! I usually prefer a very collaborative style of play to ensure a satisfying experience for everyone! Also a fan of puzzles, mysteries, and social encounters, though I certainly won't shy away from a good combat encounter either.

Nick is a patient and thorough GM. He created situations to help bring players into the shoes of their PCs, and creates plots to bring out interesting dimensions of yourself and your game. He doesn't babysit, and he doesn't have a grudge against players - I adore his narration and I always feel excited to try and suss out where he might be taking a plot.
I've played several Monster of the Week sessions with Draconick and have enjoyed all of them! He helped us understand the system and the virtual tabletop, create our characters, and talked with everyone ahead of time to find out if there was anything we were uncomfortable with. The monster investigations we've gone on so far have all been interesting and had fun premises, and he's always been enthusiastic about the ideas our party came up with. He also does a great job at making sure each player can contribute in their own way and has a chance to shine. It has felt very collaborative, and has been a great first experience with the system for me!
Drac was a delight to have as a GM. He ran a one-shot for us that had both new and experienced ttrpg players, but also most of us were new to the system. He walked us through it during session 0 and we went from not sure about our characters to being overly excited for these characters who had ties to one another. During session, he was very patient but knew how to keep the story moving along. He also knew how to give each player a piece of the puzzle to make sure we all felt connected and included. We had a few great moments where the players came up with some kind of bizarre solution and he adapted to make it feel awesome, but still fair. I think all the proof you need is that the one-shot turned into a second session with our characters tackling something else, and we all can't wait for a third one!
