About Highlandurr
I've been really into RPG's and JRPG's for as long as I can remember going all the way back to falling in love with Final Fantasy IX as a child. I got into tabletop gaming, specifically D&D 5e when a friend introduced me to it and I instantly fell in love with the freedom and unshackled creativity of the storytelling format. I started being the DM for my friends for many years and really loved bringing their characters to life and creating a world and a story for them to explore their creativity and have fun! I also love playing D&D and find myself getting so invested in characters and stories that I never want to miss a session and love helping others find that passion and having the confidence to dive in head first. I really want to take the next step and grow not only my own skills but also helping others learn and find their preferred style as a player and what kind of DM they like. I'm a big fan of Critical Role, Dimension 20, NADPOD and lots of other Tabletop creators and love to draw inspiration from everywhere I can. “A good tale never tires in the telling.”

How Highlandurr runs games
I love helping people create and tie in their characters' backstories into campaigns and giving them the opportunity to roleplay and grow that character. I always try to make combat interesting, engaging and try to stay more true to the spirit of what combat is for rather than making it a slugfest just wearing down HP. I really enjoy having the story be collaborative and love communicating with players and discussing what they’d like to see. I am pretty flexible when it comes to style and want to create a game that the players enjoy.
