HAIL ADVENTURER. My name is Chris, and I advertise myself in my branding as Christopher C Tennant. I am a neurodivergent author and educator who loves literature, lives real-life adventures, and has traveled the globe for many years, living abroad for two years and traveling domestically in every manner. Pulling from my experiences as well as the pages of literature I've both written and read, I work hard to immerse my players in a deep sense of thrill and escapism, often credited by my players for my welcoming and open-minded approaches as well as my vivid descriptions and sense of immersion. If you join me on one of my many campaigns, I promise you will walk away with a sense wonder, the same sense of wonder I tend to see the world with as an educator and fellow adventurer. My qualifications include but are not limited to: - 2 years in the Middle East - Avid outdoorsman - Multicultural and bilingual family - Many years experience caving, camping, boating, urbexing, mushrooming, foraging, gardening, rock climbing, bushcrafting, fishing, fossil hunting, archery, reading a compass/map, first aid, and wilderness survival - Love world history, medieval history, indigenous history, science, film, literature, creative writing, visual arts, and many other topics Lastly, as a patient of ADHD, OCD, Tourette's, and depression (the last two of which I rarely have the symptoms of), I deeply understand what it means to be an outsider. Growing up, I can remember a time when I struggled to connect with virtually any of my peers, and was bullied, rejected, and unseen. I wasn't alone, however, and as I grew older, I slowly found others who shared my sentiments with the world. Now, as a man of 31 years old, I find that my experiences and story can be used to challenge and empower others as I take my life and turn it into powerful narratives about the human heart. What it means to be human and what it takes to succeed in this life, despite the odds. So come, sit at my table and join me on an adventure into another realm.
