About Mark
I have been playing Tabletop RPGs for 20 years and have been actively DMing for 15. My preferred systems are Dungeons and Dragons 3.5e 5e, Pathfinder 1E 2E, Shadow of the Demon Lord, and Starfinder. I am comfortable DMing all levels of play from level 1 to epic levels as well as New to Advanced Players, all are welcome! I first got into DMing because my friend groups needed one so I stepped up and found a true passion for it. I want to host more games to hone my skills as a DM and to take people through the fun experiences of tabletop games!

I became a GM because
I wanted to create fun stories with interesting people
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Pathfinder 2e. DnD 3.5E, Shadow of the Demon Lord
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Funny, Easy-going, Fun
How Mark runs games
I love roleplay and I love to do fun voices. I also love to allow PCs to drive the story with their choices and can react accordingly to craft a great story. To me the most important thing is the group has fun as a whole.

My games focus on...
Fun first and foremost. If my players arent having fun then Im not doing my job correctly
Rules are...
there to help structure the game but are not end all be all. Sometimes the rule of cool is better to follow if it allows everyone to have more fun
When it comes to voices
I try my best to add fun voices but I have a tendency to change them slightly as I speak.
Mark 's ideal table
My table is a place where people can lose themselves in their adventures. I try to foster a table where everyone can have fun and just let go in the moment. Time should fly by as you get immersed into the world. The general vibe of my table is laid back fun, unless the story calls for moments of seriousness. I generally try to foster an environment that suits the campaign and setting. Any player that is willing to have fun and not take things too seriously will have a great time at my table.

I think min/maxing...
has it's place but it can be difficult to mix with newer players. Min maxing should not come at the sacrifice of a character that makes sense for the setting and play. Your character still needs to be a character not a stat stick.
