About Daniel
I have been playing tabletop games for 20 years now, starting with D&D 3.5. Since then, I've run multiple, multi-year campaigns in Pathfinder and World of Darkness. Notable campaigns include Way of the Wicked, with encounters inspired by the Bayonetta series. Reign of Winter ran as a mythic campaign, ending in a multi-part final encounter taking full advantage of Mythic power without it becoming rocket tag. Vampire: the Masquerade for nearly 7 years, tightly focused on a group of Caitiff and Anarchs attempting to overthrow the Camarilla from within. All of this is done with a massive emphasis on roleplay and a deep understanding of mechanics to make sure everyone gets their time to shine when the dice come down.

I got started GMing...
running Pathfinder 1e Adventures Paths, starting with Reign of Winter. I was able to run the whole campaign from start to finish, with homebrewed content inspired by Bayonetta and The Last Rune book series by Mark Anthony. From there, it became nearly an obsession to make worlds.
How Daniel runs games
Every campaign is a chance for a player to tell their story. My goal is to facilitate those stories, to make them feel as real and as tangible as possible. I want that person to walk away from each session exhilarated and exhausted from the rush of being a whole different person. How I do that is through by ensuring each character is intrinsically tied to the story. That each map, encounter and location has visuals and storytelling to go with it. To give the players the sense that they can truly affect a world through their action - or inaction.

My games focus on...
All my games focus on player choice and agency. I want every choice, big and small, to feel like it mattered. It doesn't have to be plot altering, the small details of a character are what bring them to life at the table, and it's my job to facilitate that.
Daniel's ideal table
If you enjoy the tone of things like Stargate SG-1, Vampire Diaries and Supernatural, you'll have a great time at my table. I sum my games up as dark and whimsical. That is, there's plenty of room for serious and dramatic moments, and also the person who defeats their foes with a well-timed pun.
