About Carlos MC
Hello, if you're reading this, it means that you're considering me for your next session, and I really appreciate your consideration. Since childhood I have enjoyed books and all the stories they tell, so when I discovered D&D it was love at first sight. Telling stories, their development during the sessions and being able to provide a fun experience for everyone at my table is one of my biggest passions. I've been playing face-to-face D&D (3.5e, 5e and now 5.5e) since highschool and made the jump online since 2023. I take a lot of time preparing the session (choosing the maps, handouts, music, tokens) to improve the players' experience. I'm always eager to meet new players so we can create amazing stories and moments we enjoy together, because at the end of the day, that’s what we are all here about!

I got started GMing...
Because none of my friends wanted to read the rules, so I was the chosen sacrifice for the Forever GM curse. Joke aside, I love reading, creating content, and improvising, which means that I really enjoy all the aspect of been a GM.
How Carlos MC runs games
As a DM, I focus on creating a fun, relaxed and fair game environment where players can enjoy and be themselves. Whether you're new to the game or a seasoned player, if you're looking for deep character development or hilarious shenanigans, my games are heavy with role-play opportunities. During games I use the "yes,and/no,but" grid in the name of a good story. I encourage role play over roll play, but don't feel forced to get out your comfort zone. I adjust the main storyline so your character's backstory, goals, and relationships fit into the narrative or scrap the main storyline in favor of the pc’s interests.

My games focus on...
I focus on following the flow of the narrative; that means I'll bend the rules to allow something that fits in the context of the situation, also I follow the characters ideas (rule of cool) if they explain what they want to achieve and that is possible at the moment and doesn't break the game.
