About Billy L
I am a writer, gamer, and small-time voice actor. I have loved role-playing games since I was 10 years old, and show no signs of stopping now! I have played at a ton of great digital tables over the last few years, and want to bring that energy to my own digital tables here on StartPlaying! I have experience in a ton of different systems, ranging from D&D to Brindlewood Bay (and a lot in between). I pride myself on making my tables fun and inclusive for every person that chooses to spend their valuable time with me. How Billy L runs games
My games focus on being welcoming and inclusive for everyone, full stop. I enjoy a laid back table where everyone has creative input on the scene(s) and scenarios, and is comfortable sharing their interesting ideas and working to create a great atmosphere for each other! My focus tends to be on mystery or horror, though I love a good dungeon crawl (who doesn't?!) I primarily employ Theatre of the Mind and abstract combat encounters, with a heavier focus on roleplay. I always leave room to figure out how we as a group can take a story in new directions, sometimes even putting important questions to the table and always being willing to ask "what do we all think would be cool to see here?". Above all though, I'm happy to just meet new, cool people and help people have a great time learning a new system or playing a longer campaign without feeling like they are bogging anyone down. We are all here to have fun, so lets work together to make it fun for everyone!

Billy L's ideal table
I like to focus on the story, and give as much room as I can for player interpretation. I am not opposed to talking my ideas for rulings through with the table to see if people agree or disagree. If you are willing to work together to make sure everyone is having a great time, then you will be a great addition to the table!
