GM Style

My gaming style is focused on immersing players in the game world and encouraging them to engage with their characters on a deep level. With a focus on roleplay and relationships, I balance exploration and battle to provide players with a variety of gameplay styles, and I like to weave character backstory into the adventure to make the game more engaging and meaningful. I believe that gaming should be an multifaceted experience that can be light-hearted and ridiculous at times, but also deep, gritty, or emotional when the story calls for it. I encourage players to be creative and think outside the box. While I believe that rules are the foundation to any game, I will sometimes use the Rule of Cool for the sake of the story or to allow players to do something legendary. I run premade modules and campaigns, as well as adventures within my own homebrew worlds. I run games both on and offline.
