About me
I started playing TTRPG's when I left the military and struggled to find a way to cope with that experience. I started to GM because I found that the creative process of making whatever setting I wanted was so much fun. I've only played DnD with the 2014 and 2024 rulesets but I will most likely get into other games in the future. As a GM, I enjoy describing the settings with as much imagery and sensory words I can jam into it. When you meet my NPC's feel free to have a good chuckle while I attempt crazy accents and dialogues.
GM Style
Doors? Optional. Swinging from a chandelier to avoid detection? Encouraged. Pretending to be a guards distant cousin to allow you inside? I hope you brought photos from the family reunion. In my games I like to keep things rule of cool. I implement several house rules to keep the game engaging and fun for everyone. Sometimes it's nice to solve life's problems with magic instead of reason and logic like in the real world. I like to run games with an emphasis on problem solving and role playing rather than just go combat encounter to combat encounter. I like to use some VTT and some theater of mind to immerse you into the game world. I am a music producer by trade and try to use some unconventional soundscapes and songs to elevate the mood or feeling I am trying to build. For myself I am disabled veteran. I have found that the TTRPG world is a great way express yourself through characters and work through some of life's problems in an alternate way. I am firm believer that games should be LGTBQ+ and BIMPOC inclusive. There is enough hate in the world so there will not be any at my table. I am looking forward to meeting you and seeing what kind of awesome story we can tell together.
