About Brent W

Hello! I'm Brent, I'm located in the Pacific NW United States, and I would be honored to be your new GM. I've been playing TTRPGs for 10 years now (mainly D&D) and GMing for a few years. I've ran Dungeons and Dragons 5e, The One Ring 2e, the Alien RPG 1e, Monster of the Week, Mork Borg, Blood on the Lens, and most recently Dragonbane. In the future I'd love to run Coriolis, Root, and Symbaroum/Ruins of Symbaroum. I'm also open to any other kinds of TTRPGs! LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC friendly. I've only got two rules: be kind, and have fun!

How Brent W runs games

Roleplay and combat lover! My variety of characters voices may not be huge, but they are memorable. I do have a degree in theatre and this may be the only time I get to use it, so please be gentle. I'm a flexible GM and can run whatever kind of game you want. Dark and gritty? Light and whimsical? Rules heavy? Rules light? Whatever kind of game you prefer, I can make it work!

Brent W's ideal table

I like serious games with humorous tones. I love when players lean into the tragedy and horror of fantasy/sci-fi stories, and can buy into the concept of I know where I want my story to go, but I'm ok if that gets derailed sometimes, while also enjoying the occasional moment of brevity. Being able to joke around and play pranks on the local inn-keeper one session, and mourning the loss of a comrade the next, are the kinds of stories that I love to tell.
