Ich leite und spiele Pen & Paper sowohl online (im Stream und privat) als auch am Tisch seit einigen Jahren. Ich liebe es, mit meinen Spielenden immer wieder neue Geschichten, epische Momente und große Gefühle zu erleben. Das Beste am Spielleiten ist, neue Spielende an dieses wundervolle Hobby heranzuführen und ihnen zu helfen, in neue Welten einzutauchen. // I have been running and playing ttrpgs both online (via livestream and privately) and at the table for several years. I love experiencing new stories, epic moments and powerful emotions with my players time and time again. The best thing about running games is introducing new players to this wonderful hobby and helping them immerse themselves in new worlds.

How Vanessa runs games

Ich bin ein großer Fan von Rollenspiel und lasse im Zweifel Rule of Cool gelten, wenn es nicht zu abwegig ist. Mir ist wichtig, das alle am (virtuellen) Tisch Spaß haben, sodass Safety Tools zu meiner Standard-Ausrüstung gehören. // I am a big fan of roleplay and, when in doubt, I apply the Rule of Cool, as long as it is not too far-fetched. It is important to me that everyone at the (virtual) table has fun, so safety tools are part of my standard equipment.

When it comes to voices

I would love to be able to bring every NPC to live with a different voice. Sadly, my range is limited, which doesn't mean I don't get to have fun with it.

Meine ideale Gruppe besteht aus Spielenden, die sich auf eine Geschichte einlassen möchten, und bereit sind, in ihren Charakteren aufzugehen. Ich erwarte keine schauspielerischen Meisterleistungen (die ich selbst nicht bringen kann), aber Neugierde, etwas neues auszuprobieren. Ob Neuling oder Veteran, an meinem Tisch haben alle Platz. // My ideal table consists of players who like to dive into a story and embody their characters. I do not expect outstanding acting performances (which I couldn't deliver upon myself) but curiosity to try something new. My table has room for both beginners and veterans.

know their character's abilities and is creative with them. I love nothing more than being surprised by how a player cleverly solves a problem.

I think min/maxing...

is the most boring way to play ttrpgs. Let your characters be bad at something vital. Let them have flaws. Let them make emotional decisions.

My table is not the place for...

players who think they can "win" at ttrpg. For me, the only kind of winning is having fun and telling a story together. (And making the GM facepalm, let's be real.)
