About BIGJose
As a GM for over 8+ years at my local gaming store, I've found that I am an open book! Meaning, I don't typically use campaign books for my adventures. I've found that homebrews help keep mine and my players creativity flowing. My number one rule is Rule of Cool: if you can explain your thought cool enough, it could happen so long as the dice allow it! With each campaign's end goal in mind, I'm always fluid with how the players and the dice want to tell the story. Each of my players comfortability is important to me: being considerate, open minded, and kind are my utmost priority. That and to have fun! Standard session are $20. Private bookings are $30.

My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
D&D 5e, Kids on Bikes & Tales from the Loop.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Innovative, open-minded, adaptive, comical & fair. I know that's more then 5 but I actually asked my players.
When I'm not running games I'm...
I am thinking of the next session, coming up with new customized content for my games. Other than RPGs I am a gamer, comic & manga reader in that order.
How BIGJose runs games
I try to read my players and their playing style but I prefer engaging role-playing. We do uncommon combat encounters, clever fun puzzles and open map adventuring. I reward investment and engagment with GM l inspirations. GM inspirations can be used to add to your skill checks or attacks, primarily used as a tactic to stay involved & enticed to play.

Peter Jackson co-directed with James Cameron.
My games focus on...
Fun collaborative storytelling & the rule of cool.
Rules are...
Open to interpretation. I don't let rules diminish the fun being had at the table.
BIGJose's ideal table
The wild card. The player trying to get everyone to work together and not burn down the tavern. The quiet player that always comes in clutch when needed. The fun player who everyone looks towards in hard times or to have fun when we need to pass the time.
