About me

Hi 👋 I'm Wayne and I'm a professional actor and also Dungeon Master for the British 🇬🇧 actual play YouTube show 'Bardic Quest' (see YouTube link on this profile to get a sense of my style). I first began playing D&D in 2003, began Dungeon Mastering about 18 months later and specifically have been a DM for 5e games since the edition was released in 2014. I'm fortunate enough to be working in the entertainment industry full-time, but my love for the fantasy genre always brings me back to D&D (specifically DMing) and putting my theatre, character and improv skills into taking fellow D&D players on an adventure into fantastical worlds. Part of my work in the entertainment industry is also training other actors, and I also bring that passion for teaching into helping others to learn D&D. Part of the joy of D&D for me is exploring the fantasy worlds that the game has to offer 🧭 So you can certainly expect my games to lean into the exploration side of the game more than most, with not only memorable locations but also plenty of unique NPCs to interact with too! 💬
