I've been immersed in the world of DnD ever since the days of the red box, although there was a brief pause during the notorious "satanic panic." About 12 years ago, I rekindled my passion for the game, and I'm truly grateful that I did. In the intervening years, I've both played as a player and taken on the role of a Game Master. Additionally, I've been fortunate to work in the industry as an artist and writer. My mind is a constant cauldron of imagination, and the art of Imagineering occupies my thoughts during nearly every waking moment. Dungeons & Dragons has provided me with a vital outlet for my creative impulses, allowing me to craft intricate worlds and narratives. While I'm fully capable of running pre-made campaigns, I take great pride in the unique campaign I've crafted. If you were a fan of 80's cartoons, you'll find my campaign particularly appealing. In my campaign, there's a twist that sets it apart. Not only will you be rolling a character, but you'll also step into the shoes of yourself as a player character. You can even be a different version of yourself from an alternate dimension within the multiverse. However, the overarching plot unfolds within the current timeline and the fantastical realm we've created. How Ark runs games
While I've spent a significant amount of time as a Dungeon Master, often relying on the theater of the mind for gameplay, I've also indulged my creative side by crafting intricate maps and terrain, both digitally and in the real world. My collection of miniatures and terrains has reached a point where it nearly engulfs an entire room, and they have proven invaluable as visual aids when players seek clarification during our adventures. Yet, what truly resonates with me is the art of storytelling. I'm deeply passionate about weaving narratives that captivate and immerse my players. My foremost objective is to ensure that the story flows seamlessly without hindrance. Consequently, I prefer to steer clear of maps and tokens if they threaten to impede the players' progress or the overall pace of the game. While I hold the rules of the game in high regard, I'm also willing to simplify aspects when necessary to maintain a sense of fluidity and speed in our gameplay. Anticipate the inclusion of "homebrew" elements in our sessions to facilitate this dynamic style of play. My unwavering commitment lies in delivering a gaming experience that's not only engaging but also sparks the imagination and creates unforgettable memories. I aim for our adventures to be tales that players eagerly share with friends and family, preserving the magic of our collective storytelling in the annals of their own legends.
