About Anthony
I've always had a special place in my heart for tabletop games, from the young age of 8 playing at my uncles weekly DnD campaign, to now almost 30 years later I love immersing myself and exploring in other worlds. As I "matured" I began running games for my friends at my local high school. I continued playing and running games through college, with friends as well as strangers at my local game store, and tabletop club events. I've played many TTRPGs, such as DnD, Mothership, various cypher systems, and Dark Heresy. I mainly run Mothership games now as I've become obsessed with the worlds I get to create using this system, I may run the occasional DnD adventure as well. As a technology person by trade, I like to incorporate tech into our games, though not at the expense of immersion or story. I try and replicate the in person tabletop experience, using amazing tools such as Discord for voice chat, FoundryVTT for maps and handouts, etc. I believe being a DM is allowing the players agency to tell their story in a setting that you've created. To facilitate this I have always provide clear expectations of player responsibilities to one another as well as myself. Any content warnings to discuss themes that should be adjusted. I've always made an effort for players to feel included and do not tolerate hate speech or bigotry of any kind. These tables are a safe space for all and for players to feel comfortable in my setting they must first be comfortable at the table.

My favorite books are
So many to choose from right now my current three are - The illustrated man - The icarus Hunt - The Heir to the Empire trilogy
People are always surprised when I tell them
I am a quiet father of 3. Does not show at a table with horror themes haha
When I'm not running games I'm...
Either sitting on my couch reading a good book with a cup of tea, playing my unknown run in BG3, Mass Effect or Dragon age. Hanging out with my family. Not always in that order haha.
How Anthony runs games
In my games players can expect a high focus on role play and simple combat. I love the Mothership setting as it ties perfectly with how I run my games. I love immersive story telling so expect some music and photos, but nothing can replace theater of the mind. I try not to let rules overshadow the story, I believe rules are there to make things simple.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
- Guillermo Del Torro or Frank Henenlotter
I prep by
listening to dark cyberpunk music and talking a walk out towards the end of the day as the sun is going down and shadows start to shift.
Rules are...
There to guide you but should not interfere with the game. Why Mothership is great for its rules light
Anthony's ideal table
My table is a free space to express yourself in game. If you are looking for a rules light, moderate roleplaying table this is for you. I don't tolerate hate speech of any kind or bigotry. We are allies, friends and accepting to all.

I am for a vibe that's...
Chill, cool, fun
I love it when a player
is engaged in the story and begins to take what I've offered and builds upon it and makes it their own.
I think min/maxing...
Kinda defeats the purpose of some TTPRG's there are places for it but I feel like its always more fun to play the average Joe then some beefed up super PC
