About Angelo
I was first introduced to TRPGs back in 1983 when my cousins, my brother, and I started playing D&D and AD&D. When I was in university I played and DMed AD&D 2e. I have honestly lost track of the number of game systems and homebrews I have tried out since then under and with various groups, but of course I have my favorites: D&D 3.x, Exalted, In Nomine, Ars Magica, Scion, and Mage the Ascension.

My favorite system of all Time is
In Nomine's "d666" system. It combines the simplicity of West End Game's d6 System with the versatility of Guardians of Order's Tri-Stat dX.
How Angelo runs games
I am in general agreement with the Role-Playing Game Manifesto, from Guardians of Order. This means I like doing things within the Rules as Written, but the Rule of Cool almost always outweighs RaW. Of course since my memory is not infallible, sometimes I make it up as I go along anyway. I prefer a sandbox approach where the players are free to choose what to do within the bounds of the table rules, i.e. if the game is heroic in nature no going full-on Mr. Glass. On the other hand, if I am asked to run a pre-made adventure I expect that my players will not actively try to derail the flow of the story. Unless the game is a "Learn to Play," I would rather not have rules questions while a session is ongoing as it disrupts the flow, so unless it's about a vital point which could potentially save a PC and/or the party I ask that the players let the game proceed and let the group address the rules question during a break or after the session. Humor has a place of honor in my games, but I ask that my players respect that there are times when it is not appropriate especially in the middle of a role-play heavy moment.

I once ran a session...
There was this one time I ran a role-play session of Scion while my group was taking a dip in a swimming pool.
Angelo's ideal table
My ideal table is one where everybody is having good, clean fun. I like players who pay attention, actively contribute, and avoid distracting others or interrupting the flow of the game.

I love it when a player
Does not wait for me to dangle an adventure hook in front of them. I want them to make their own stories within the scope of the setting and game.
