About Avy
I’m a Dungeon Master passionate about storytelling and making sure every player feels welcome at the table. I am a psychologist and I try bringing that into the table. I enjoy both deep, atmospheric roleplay and quick, action-packed adventures. I’ve guided many new players through their very first session, and I always make sure the table feels approachable no matter your level of experience. My focus is on open communication and making the game adapt to the players’ expectations, whether that’s heavy roleplay, tactical combat, exploration, or just a mix of everything. At my table you can expect: - Open communication: I check in with players to make sure everyone feels comfortable and heard. - A safe space: Respect and inclusivity are at the core of how I run games. - Flexible style: I adapt the tone and pacing of the story to match what the group enjoys. - Player focus: Whether you’re a new adventurer or a seasoned veteran, I’ll make sure the experience is fun and engaging for you. - Memorable stories: From gothic horror in Barovia to fast, exciting one-shots, I aim to create sessions that stick with you. My goal is simple: when you leave the table, you’ll feel like you had fun, connected with the group, and lived through a story worth remembering.

I became a GM because
I became a DM because I love seeing players grow through their characters. Roleplaying can be therapeutic, helping people explore and connect. The best stories aren’t written alone—they’re created together, and that shared magic is why I run games.
How Avy runs games
My GM style is all about atmosphere, immersion, and making the world feel alive. I have a special love for gothic horror, where every shadow hides a secret and every choice has weight. I want players to feel both the thrill of danger and the satisfaction of overcoming it together. - Roleplay-driven storytelling: NPCs with depth, moral dilemmas, and choices that matter. - Challenging but fair combat: Encounters that feel dangerous but never overwhelming. - Immersion: I use description, tone, and pacing to keep players engaged in the world. - Player agency: The story adapts to your choices; I want your characters to shape the tale. - Safety tools: Clear communication so the horror stays fun, never uncomfortable.
