About Tenpas
Hello everybody! I’m Tenpas (my Mom calls me Chris). I began playing D&D in the 1980s and played through middle and high school. However, my party moved away, and I was left with a bunch of books and miniatures. It’s a sad story, but there’s a happy ending. Fast-forward to 2022. I’m listening to another LitRPG audiobook, and my mind wanders back to the glorious days of hosting a party through one dark labyrinth after another. I plug Dungeons and Dragons into a search engine and POW, Start Playing Games is at the top of the list. The rest is history. I’ve played in several fantastic campaigns and one-shots since that day and am ready to jump back into running the show.

How Tenpas runs games
My game style is to keep things interesting. I like to play in games where the NPCs and bad guys are interesting, so it’s only fair that I strive to make my games follow suit. I want everyone to enjoy themselves at my game, but if your idea of fun is to bully, mock, or belittle other players, please choose another game.

I prep by
playing the quest with my kids. This gives me a chance to try out my voices on them. If there are no eye-rolls, I pour on more. If there are nothing but eye-rolls, I scale it back a bit.
Tenpas's ideal table
I like a good mix of roleplay and combat, so having players who want the same helps things go smoothly. This game changes so frequently that I appreciate anyone willing to give me advice on the rules, but I ask that even the most seasoned expert not push rules on another player (or me) unless requested. It should go without saying, but disrespect toward another player will not be tolerated.
